By train 

The journey by Taiwan Rail train from Taipei to Hualien takes approximately 2 hours; from Kaohsiung, the journey takes around 4.5 hours.

(1)Taipei-Ilan Freeway: through Hsuehshan Tunnel to Suao

(2)North Coastal Highway to Suao

(3)Taipei-Ilan Highway to Suao→The Suhua Highway(Provincial Highway 9)→Hualien

• From Kaohsiung：

Kaohsiung→Fengkang→Provincial Highway 9→Taitung→Hualien

1. The shuttle bus service requires reservations three days in advance. Seats are limited,so please book in advance.
2. Cancellations must be made two hours prior to departure.
3. Shuttle bus stop: Hualien railway station East Exit.
4. Time required for one way journey: 12 to 15 minutes.
5. Booster seats are available for in limited quantities. Please contact Guest Service to make a reservation.
