| Introduction to OBT |
 |
| OBT is short for Outward Bound Taiwan. It is the world’s largest, and one of the longest-running, non-profit organizations involved in outdoor experiential education. OBT opened a branch in Taiwan and now serves as a fresh infusion of energy to move Taiwanese adventure instruction into international realms. Not only does OBT host various adventure courses, at the same time, TA (Team Adventure) has been brought into OBT as one of OBT’s brands of corporate training courses. Presently, OBT has set up stations at the Ke Wang (Wish) base in Long Tan, the Parkview (Mei Lun) base in Hualien, and the Shu Gu (Tree Valley) base in Tainan. Among these bases, the Parkview (Mei Lun) base is able to combine its activities with the exceptionally abundant natural environment of the eastern coast of Taiwan to create a richer and more complete OBT curriculum. |
